Today I’m going to be talking about Instagram stories! Instagram stories are on a personal level one of my favorite things. There are lots of fun things you can do with them and they are a great way to give your clients, friends and sphere of influence a “Behind the Scenes” look at what is going on!

About Instagram Stories

Instagram itself is for posting pictures and videos under a minute long and using captions and hashtags. Instagram stories is great for the behind the scenes and to be a little more spontaneous! New Listing? Post some pictures of the staging being brought it, pop on to Instagram stories shoot a quick hello telling people when the open house starts. You can also use Boomerang (which we talked in our episode– What’s App!?) which is built right into Instagram stories. A few things  to NoteInstagram stories only last 24 hours unless you “Highlight them” in which case they will live along the top of your Instagram profile page.
You can add writing to your post and use the @sign to tag people. 
You can add stickers, polls, tag locations and add hashtags that are clickable so people can see other posts with the same hashtag. An added bonus to Instagram stories is you can actually see who watches your Insta-story which is great insight on whose engaging with you. 

How To Use Insta-story for your Business

Insta-story is great for the “Behind the Scenes” part of you life as a realtor. Perhaps it’s showing the staging being put in. You popping in as you set up for the open house taking place tomorrow. Using Instagram Stories is not only a fun way to get in front of you followers but it will help keep you top of mind between posts!
