Video is no longer a trend in social media.  It’s a MUST DO!  If you want to grow your business online, then you MUST start engaging in video. It seems daunting but I promise, the more you do it, the better you’ll get!  Today, I’m going to share the 3 biggest tips that work for me when creating video.

1. Get Over Yourself – I know it’s tough but YOU are your worst critic. No one knows what you know better than you so get over it and just do it.
2. Place your Phone in a Horizontal Position – Lots of people are going vertical but I still like the look of a horizontal video better.
3. Look at the Camera – This is really important because when you look at the camera, the audience feels like you’re looking directly at them. 
4. Create an Outline – Having an outline or a few notes will help you deliver the information confidently.
   1. Start by introducing yourself. Tell your audience who you are and where you work. 
   2. Tell them what you’re going to tell them.
   3. Tell them
   4. Finally close the video with a call to action. Invite your audience to engage and tell them how they can find you.
5. Have fun – Don’t take it so seriously. Let your true self shine and have fun!  I’ll be on the sidelines cheering you on!
