Real Estate Marketing Episode 21: How to Differentiate Yourself, Part 2

 

 

Hey Everyone!  It’s Christine George, President of Marketing at RE/MAX Leading Edge with offices in Boston, Cambridge and all over Greater Boston. Welcome to Episode 21 of Real Estate Marketing!

Ever ask yourself how you can stand out from the competition or what you can do differently to have a greater impact?  Today we’re continuing our conversation around differentiation and I’m going to share part 2 of “How to Differentiate Yourself”! 

Be a Champion for Others.  What exactly do I mean when I say, be a champion?(Queue JT “what goes around”) I’m saying, what goes around comes aroundMake it about others and it will surely come around to benefit you.

  1. Celebrate your colleagues and your clients- When you see someone doing something great, share it! But don’t stop there.  Tell everyone what makes that person special and why you think what they’re doing is great. 
  2. Promote local businesses– Write a review or do a live video like, The Melrose Scoopor Shop Storiesand promote the local businesses that make your neighborhood so special and make your community thrive.
  3. Be philanthropic– Is there a charity or cause that’s near and dear to your heart? Do more than make a donation.  Volunteer, participate in a fundraising event or serve on a local Board. You’ll meet tons of people who share your love for the cause and it will warm your heart to give back.

When you champion others, it makes people feel appreciated, goes a very long way in building relationships and attracting the clients you want to do business with. (Queue JT “what goes around”)
