Watch, Learn and Get Inspired by These Three Personalities!

Social Media is a vast landscape. There is so much to learn and you're never done becuase it's always changing! Here are the top 3 people I follow so that I'm always learning and being inspired.
Katie Lance
Katie Lance of Katie Lance Consulting is where it all began for me! When I first started doing social media I got the chance to take her 6 week course #GetSocialSmart. It was incredible! Katie, who formerly worked for Inman News as their chief strategist and social media director, has a focus on how real estate agents can leverage social media to grow their brand and business. She covers Facebook and Instagram all the way to Pinterest and Youtube! And everything in between. She has recently launched the #GetSocialSmart Academy which is an online platform that houses countless videos, presentations, and weekly live webinars! She is constantly updating and adding so there is always more to learn! As a member you also get access to her private Facebook groups which I’ve found to be a great place to share ideas, learn from others in the industry, and find answers to questions that arise. Katie exudes personality and authenticity and that is a huge part of social media. I enjoy watching her, learning from her and engaging with her on social media!

Gary Vaynerchuk
As his website states, he builds businesses. He started with his family’s wine business and in five years he took it from a $3 million dollar company to a $60 million dollar company. Cheers! Gary now runs VaynerMedia and has invested in companies like Facebook, Uber, and Twitter. He’s written 4 books (click here), does public speaking appearances and is all over social media. His instagram offers pictures overlaid with motivational business quotes and his snapchats feature him buying $1 toys and then turning around and selling them on eBay for $20. He has two Youtube shows, the #AskGaryVee Show, in which he answer questions from followers and Dailyvee.
Now, I don’t know Gary personally and I’ve never met him but in my mind he’s the hyped up NY Jets Fan who gets worked up and drops colorful language. He has a whole section on his Youtube channel called Rants. Enough said.

Raj Qsar and The Boutique Real Estate Group
Raj is the principal and owner of The Boutique Real Estate Group in California which services the Orange County area. You know, the place where all those rich kids from that MTV show Laguna Beach lived? And where The Real Housewives are from! Raj services a serious luxury market. Just glancing at his website you’ll see what I mean. But I don’t follow Raj just because he has a bunch of expensive coastal California homes for sale. I follow Raj for his Instagram and Youtube accounts.
The video’s Raj creates for his listings are incredible. The cinematography is impeccable. Some videos he will have the home owner talking about the house’s features, others will tell a wordless story. Some make you feel like you’re watching a music video or movie trailer. I watch these videos to relax and day dream, that’s how detailed and put together they are (seriously, I spent an hour long plane ride watching The Boutique Real Esate Group videos because I was doing “research” for this blog post). Raj prides himself on touching every part of a listing and social media and cinematography are a big part of that. If nothing else check out his Youtube channel!
