Good Morning Everyone! Welcome to Mug Monday! I’m Emily Dugal, Digital Marketing Manager at RE/MAX Leading Edge! If you’ve seen Mug Monday welcome back and if it’s your first time I’m excited to share my myriad of mugs and tips with you! This week’s mug is my Disney Half Marathon Mug. Today we are going to be talking about testimonials and how to get and how you can repurpose them!
How to Get Testimonials
Firstly, let’s discuss getting testimonials. There are a number of places that clients can post testimonials or they can simply submit them to you in letter form. The best way to get a testimonial is to ask! And ask more the once. Remind them. Follow up with them on it.
Make it easy for them to review you. Send them a link to your Facebook page or Zillow page.
If they are writing you a direct letter and not posting it you can include it in marketing material or future presentations but you are unable to post a client review to places like Zillow on behalf of your client. Sometimes giving an incentive like sending a note with a 5$ Starbucks gift card and telling them how much you loved working with them and asking if they can write you a review can make it more likely they’ll do it!
Testimonials can do more than just increase your presence on Zillow they can also be content!
Creating a graphic with testimonials is a great piece of content that you can post on your social media and use as an ad campaign. Want to take it a step further? Remember video is king so if you have clients who are willing to get on camera ask them to shoot a snippet at the closing.
