January 2022 Housing Report

“Attention homeowners who are contemplating selling,” asserts Linda O’Koniewski, CEO, Leading Edge. “The New Year inspires people to move, and inventory is at its lowest point while potential sellers wait for the green grass and Azaleas in spring. That spells big opportunity. Buyers are out in force, and the listings on the market in less temperate conditions can outperform the market for better prices. If you are looking for tactics and strategies to maximize your sale, contact a Leading Edge agent for wise counsel.”

December sales of single-family homes in the Leading Edge service area decreased -3.7% year-over-year. Inventory decreased -42%. The number of days on market over the last 12 months decreased -24.2% while median sale prices remain up +9.4% at $760,000.
