Hey Everyone! It’s Christine George, President of Marketing at RE/MAX Leading Edge with offices in Boston, Cambridge and all over Greater Boston. Welcome to Episode 22 of Real Estate Marketing!
Today we’re continuing our conversation around differentiation and I’m excited to share part 3 of “How to Differentiate Yourself”!
Provide Valuable Content. Content is still the single most important thing you can do to differentiate yourself, and it’s not enough to repurpose content.
- It must come from you– I’m not saying it has to be a new idea. There are tons of videos and blogs out there on how to differentiate yourself but you chose to watch this one, hopefully, because you’ve seen me before, you know me or somehow I resonate with you.
- Give your opinion– Believe it or not, people value your opinion and they want to know what it is. It can be scary to put yourself out there. Truth is, not everyone is going to agree with you. But that’s the power of sharing your opinion. It attracts the people you want to do business with.
- Make it uniquely you– You might be super witty, dry and sarcastic, or direct and to the point. Whatever your style, allow it to come through in your delivery.
Start by thinking about the most common questions you get asked, then jot down the answers, shoot a quick video or write a blog. Keep it simple and most importantly, have fun doing it.
That’s it for me today. Make sure to tune in next time for Part 4 of How to Differentiate Yourself!
